Frequently Asked Questions

What do the statuses mean?

Completed

You consider this one done. It could be the end credits, it could be all achievements. It's your backlog, your rules.

Endless

Games without a necessary ending or with strong replayability. Sandbox games, multiplayer, arcade, fighting games and so on.

Retired

Games you stopped playing. You're free to do whatever you want with your backlog. Some people drop games that others consider masterpieces. Too difficult, too old and janky, or games you enjoyed but didn't want to see through to the end.

What happens if I buy a new game on Steam?

Your library is fetched fresh every time you open the app. New purchases show up automatically on your next visit.

Why do some games not have a critic score or completion time?

Scores come from Metacritic and completion times from HowLongToBeat. Not every game is listed there, especially smaller indie titles, older games, or DLCs. We show what we find and leave the rest blank.

Do you support other languages?

Not yet, the interface is in English only for now.

What data do you store?

Your Steam ID, your game statuses, and when you last visited. Nothing else. Full details in the Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my account?

Open the menu in the top right corner and go to Settings. There's a delete account option that removes everything permanently.

I found a bug or have a suggestion, how can I reach you?

Email contact@backlogplanner.eu. Always happy to hear from people using the app.
